Cotton's 24 Hour Runway

Cotton is doing a 24 hour runway in Miami and the whole show is going to be livestreamed... how cool! Giuliana Rancic, Louise Roe, Lauren Conrad and more will all be attending or hosting the show! Each hour there is a new show featuring cotton looks.  Brands like Banana Republic, Forever 21, Gap, Lilly Pulitzer, Bloomingdales, Scoop NYC, Anthropologie, Nicole Miller and more!  There will be 1,440 looks, DJs and 24% off discounts of each brand that is going down the runway for the hour.

Each hour has a different theme, like Downtown Glam, and will be showcasing cotton looks for that category.  Also, each region of the USA has a people picked style cotton glam representative at the shows in Miami!

Check out the list of designers and celebs for each hour on the website.  Tweet along using the #cotton24hours and be sure to tune in live tomorrow night!

This event seems SO awesome, with not to mention my two favorite fashion divas and some of my favorite designers!  Be sure to check it out!

Best Dressed of the Oscars

As many have said, they weren't over-the-top impressed with the dress selections from last night's Oscars.  Although I think couture dresses are absolutley stunning, there was none that I was obsessed with as well.  Everyone look beautiful and I'd die to wear any of those fab dresses but I probably let's say would not sell my soul for any of them.   Here are my top favorite looks:

 Amanda Seyfried in Alexander McQueen
Reese Whiterspoon in Louis Vuittion

Charlize Theron in Dior Haute Couture

Sandara Bullock in Ellie Saab

Kerry Washington in Miu Miu

Naomi Watts in Armani Prive

Amy Adams in Oscar de la Renta

Jenifer Lawerence in Dior Haute Couture

I was in couture heaven however, looking at all the celeb's dresses at the after party!  They were stunning, so fun and everyone looked beautiful!

Five Pleasures

It's been the best to be back with my favorite people in my favorite place after two weeks in fashion heaven! Through the busy schedule and anxiousness of SPRING BREAK, I found these things extra pleasureable in this cold, cold week.

{Nothing like spending some (okay, a lot) of time on other fashion blogs.  Am head over heels obsessed with these Tom Ford heels featured on Fashiontoast's blog}

{Thoughts of my travels in Southern Spain, nothing like it....}

{Fun Rent the Runway trunk show all week for a gala for heart disease}

{Acca-obsessed?  Surprise a capella performance at an initiation banquet}

{Hibachi dinner with best friends--- yeah, I didn't like my meal...}

Hope these little things can bring some pleasure to your life too!

And the Oscar goes to.....

Well, the Oscar is definitely not going to me sitting in the library in meetings all day...... There is nothing better than watching E's Red Carpet with Giuliana Rancic and gushing over the beautiful dresses.  I mean of course the actually award show is amazing, but I'm sure all you fashionistas like me can relate there is nothing like the red carpet show (and awards).

SO, for all you out there lucky enough to watch the Oscars live and with friends (thank God for TiVo), here is some Oscar-spiration to get prepared for the big awards.

These fun cocktails were created by BCBG, Hello Magazine and People Stylewatch and were inspired by top-running Oscar movie nominations.

Now time for the Oscar inspired meals created by Epicurious!

Have to of course show my favorite bloggers' Oscar-spiration

Lauren Conrad is having a PJs and Pearls Oscar Party

NYFW: Final Day

It was one hell of a week that I am so grateful for the opportunity to be apart of.  My last day was in the theater where I got to work for two amazingly talented designers.  Michael Kors and J. Mendel.  These two shows were the biggest I worked, and the most work but it was worth every second.  I still get chills thinking about the shows!

The Micheal Kors show was magnificent and worth every second of waking up so early!  The theater was jammed packed with so many celebs (Hillary Swank, Jada Pinket Smith, Michael Douglas, Willow....) fashion editors (Anna Wintour, Grace Coddington...), bloggers (Bryan Boy, Anna Dello Russo....), fashion queens (Rachel Zoe, Carolina Kurkova...), royalty across the globe and so many more fashion divas and divos.  There was a HUGE PR team that made everything perfect.  We changed out the seats for benches to fit more people, and instead of seat numbers each person had their name on a seat.  Definitely very different and more personal/ professional I thought.

The collection was beautiful.  So many bright colors and awesome structured pieces.  The high-low dresses were to die for and the finale actually gave me chills.  Each of the strong colors Michael used came out together in the finale to walk around the two aisle runway.  It was breathtaking.

The J.Mendel show was so fabulous and I became even more in love with the designer and his collection.  He kept coming out during rehearsal to check on everything and was just so sweet and cute.  The pieces were gorgeous and rich in fabric and material.  Every look I dreamt about owning to wear to the office or an awesome upscale NYC party.

Taking out every bench and putting in over 1,000 chairs made me definitely feel the intern in me, however it all didn't matter to me, especially when I got to watch his collection come to life.  Seeing Katherine Heigel also added to the amazingness of the day as well!

Hope you all enjoyed my behind the scenes look at Fashion Week.
Can't wait for next season and where my fashion journey and FW will take me!
